Provided student instruction for 8th grade students since 2021.
Taught Hmong/Karen/Karenni Refugees at an urban Charter School. Co-Taught classes with ELL and SPED teachers. Worked to differentiate instruction based on wide range of English Abilities. Implemented SIOP resources into daily lessons.

Student taught from September 2018-December 2018. collaboration with cooperating teacher to create/implement lesson aligned with MN state standards, participation in PLC’s (professional learning communities) with other colleagues, attended district workshops on variety of topics, modifications for a wide variety of learners, planned lessons and classroom using Schoology Learning Management system and Infinite Campus. Connections with students and families at conferences and open houses.
